G Mp3Burn is a nice frontend for mp3burn perl script that burns mp3 files directly to a musiccd. you can see a screenshot of my desktop using gmp3burn right here:

thingys gmp3burn needs:
gtk: www.gtk.org
gnome: www.gnome.org
mp3burn (perl script): mp3burn.sourceforge.net
mplib: mplib.sourceforge.net
of course mp3burn script needs perl: www.perl.com

Mon Nov 26 01:22:42 EET 2001: First inital version! you can load/save lists. (as far as i know it has the same ordinary format of xmms playlis). you can manipulate the lists, it reads id3tags using mplib. everything is cool but while burning all the output that you get from cdrecord is stderror, of course it's about to be changed in the upcoming versions!
